Total Loss of Electricity

Contact your electric utility company first to determine whether the outage is affecting your home or the surrounding area.

Total Loss of Water

Contact your local water utility to determine whether the issue is part of a larger outage.

If a leak is caused by frozen pipes, immediately turn off the main water supply to your home and contact your homeowners insurance provider.

If you suspect a gas leak, leave your home immediately and contact your gas utility or 911 from a safe location. Do not attempt to locate or repair the leak yourself.

If the issue is isolated to a furnace or water heater supply line, contact the appropriate service professional.

If a plumbing leak requires the entire water supply to your home to be shut off, turn off your home's main water supply and contact a qualified plumber.
